The 2nd Runner-up for 2022 edition of the Ghana Most Beautiful, Miss Grace Afanyin Owusu, popularly known as Aiedua earlier today, launched a project labelled, “Young and Ready Foundation” at Abeadze-Dominase of the central Region in the Mfantseman Municipality.
The project was aimed at providing learning material for basic school children across the Region to help instil into them, the reading habits. Speaking to the media, Asiedua said the initiative have been put in place to enable the children become responsible in their daily endeavours.
“The Foundation seeks to encourage the creativity in children which comes with the learning, therefore join us on this journey as we provide the basic learning materials such as shoes, bags, uniforms, and everything that prepares a child for the next phase of life”.
She continued to express her views on empowering the youths as the best legacy as well as the positive impact it will have on them.
The vice president of the Central Regional House of Chiefs together and Paramount Chief of Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, praised Aseidua and her entire team for their hard work to promote education. He advised parents and guardians to invest more in their children’s education to ensure the responsible attitude and behaviour they will put, notwithstanding the proper upbringing they will receive.
“Parents ought to take care of their wards with their school needs such as uniforms, shoes, books and other learning materials, since the government could not do everything for them”.
