Ban on noise-making commences today.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) is by this notice informing all resident in its jurisdiction that the ban on noise making has commenced to Monday 15th May,2023.
According to AMA guidelines have been set promote peace, harmony and national security. This activity is expected to end 15th June,2023.
Adding that, apart from an identifiable task force that consists of AMA personnel, the Ghana police Service and Representatives from the Traditional Councils with tags, no other person or group of persons should be seen or found enforcing the abatement of noise in the metropolis.
We entreat all persons, towns and villages within the Ga Traditional Area to cooperate and comply with the directive accordingly during during this period.
