The road transport operators earlier today 15th of May 2023 issued a press release informing the general public about a 10 percent decrease in transport fares. This follows the reduction in the price of petroleum products at the pumps.
This reductions however is slated to take effect from Wednesday 17th of March 2023.
In a statement cited by echonewonline.com it reads “We kindly request all transport operators to comply to the new fares and post same as their loading terminals, we further request no all Operators, commuters and the general public to cooperate for a successful implementation of the new fares.”
